Austin Wedding Photographer.

Fun, funky, famously unposed. Hey y'all — I'm Caity, and I photograph weddings for Austin couples who'd rather have real stories than vanilla photos.

Getting married in Austin?

You picked a great city.

Austin doesn't do anything halfway, and Austin weddings shouldn't either. From South Congress neon to Mt. Bonnell sunsets to Hill Country golden hour, you've got more visual range here than just about anywhere in the country.

But finding a photographer who actually matches the city's personality? That's the harder part. Most wedding photographers in Austin shoot the same five "approved" venues with the same warm-toned, slightly-blurry, look-over-your-shoulder-into-the-distance vibe. That's fine. It's just not me.

I bring bold color, real laughter, weird detail shots, and zero patience for stiff family photos. If your wedding is going to be a little extra — eclectic, queer, multi-cultural, badass, custom-built, or just unapologetically you — we should talk.

Real talk · Austin FAQ

Things Austin couples always ask me.

How much does a wedding photographer cost in Austin?

Most Austin wedding photographers fall in the $2,500-$8,000 range depending on hours, deliverables, and experience. The Bohde Collective starts at $3,395 (BYO Collection · 5 hours) and goes up to $5,395 for full-day flagship coverage.

What's the best time of year to get married in Austin?

October-November and March-May. Mild temperatures, low humidity, and the best light. Summer is brutal (think 100°F in a suit). January-February is cool but unpredictable. Bonus: shoulder-season dates often have venue discounts.

Do you cover Hill Country weddings too?

Yes — Dripping Springs, Wimberley, Spicewood, Fredericksburg, all of it. Anything within 100 miles of Austin is included in every package with no travel fee.

Where are the best engagement photo locations in Austin?

My favorites: Mt. Bonnell (classic sunset views), Zilker/Barton Springs, Mayfield Park (peacocks!), South Congress murals, and any Hill Country overlook for golden hour. We'll pick based on your style.

How far in advance should we book?

For peak season Saturdays (April-June, October-November), 9-14 months out. Off-peak and weekday weddings often book 4-6 months ahead. The closer to your date, the fewer options.
