For peak season Saturdays (April–June, October–November), 9–14 months out is the sweet spot. We book one wedding per weekend so I can give you my full focus. Off-peak and weekday weddings often book 4–6 months ahead.
Send an inquiry → 30-min consult call → contract + retainer ($1,000) → date is locked. From there we move into planning sessions, the engagement session, and the wedding day.
Yes — $1,000 to lock your date. The remaining balance is split into two payments, with the final due 14 days before the wedding.
If we can, we'll move your date — your retainer transfers. If we genuinely can't (overlap with another wedding), we issue a partial refund.
Most Austin wedding photographers fall in the $2,500–$8,000 range. The Bohde Collective starts at $3,395 for our BYO Collection (5 hours, custom-built) and goes up to $5,395 for our 8-hour flagship Wedding 1 package.
Absolutely. That's what BYO is for. There are tons of levers we can pull — hours, second shooter, engagement, album, etc. All it takes is a quick chat.
Yes — every wedding contract includes a 3-payment plan ($1k retainer + two installments). Customizable for budget timing if needed.
Two planning sessions, a custom photo timeline, unlimited edited photos in a private gallery, and a sneak-peek gallery within 48 hours of the wedding.
Yes. I'm your day-of Creative Director — I keep timeline, wrangle family for group photos, and run interference on chaos. You don't have to think about any of it.
I've got backup gear for days — extra camera bodies, lenses, lights, and plenty of batteries. As for me, I have an amazing network of second shooters and fellow pros just a call away if an emergency pops up. And no matter what, I'll still be the one editing your images.
Most weddings I shoot run 6–8 hours of coverage. We build a custom timeline based on your day — getting ready, ceremony, cocktail, reception, and exit.
Six weeks for the full edited gallery. I send a sneak-peek within 48 hours so you have something to share with friends and family right away.
You have full rights to your edited wedding images — print, share, and enjoy them however you like. Just one rule: no additional editing or selling them for profit. If you plan to get them published, follow the publication guidelines in your client guide.
Absolutely. I'll send full gallery links during our consultation call so you can see the whole arc of a wedding, not just the highlights.
Fun, candid, and slightly editorial — with just enough of the traditional that your grandma is happy too. I'm a documentary photographer first, with a creative-director eye for detail shots and intentional portraits.
I hold a Master's in Awkward — I get it. I use prompts and movement-based direction rather than stiff poses, so the moments are real. By minute 20, you forget I'm there.
Love is love. If you don't share that view, you're not my client. We celebrate every love story like it's the only one.
Yes — 100 miles of Austin is included with no travel fee. Beyond that, we'll quote travel transparently. I've shot destination weddings from Maine to Mexico.
Yes — lifestyle sessions are a core offering. Starting at $695. Many of my couples come back for maternity, newborn, family, and brand photos for years after the wedding.
