Intimate downtown

"That white facade + afternoon light = I'm in my happy place."
Allen House is a portrait playground — every doorway, iron gate, and column is a backdrop. We'll do a 15-minute architectural portrait walk through the property using as many distinct spots as possible.
Downtown light is unique — the buildings reflect warm afternoon light onto the white facade, creating a glow you don't get at suburban venues. Late afternoon ceremonies maximize this.
The garden ceremony space is intimate by nature — 100-150 guests max. We'll work tighter angles and emotional close-ups since the space rewards intimacy over scale.
Most run 5-7 hours given the intimate scale. ATX 2026-2027 (6 hrs) or BYO Collection are common fits.
Indoor ceremony in the main parlor — Victorian details, period light fixtures, surprisingly photogenic. The garden is still accessible for portraits if weather breaks.
On the front steps or by the iron gates — both are quick to set up and use the venue's iconic features. Plan 15-20 minutes for smaller guest counts.
Late afternoon — the white columns glow about 90 minutes before sunset. We'll set ceremony to hit that window.
Yes — period-styled rooms upstairs with great natural light. Getting-ready coverage starts there.
